420. SERBIAN MUSIC!! :D
OMG MOBY DICK!!!

This is a serbian band I've grown up with, but absolutely no one seems to remember except my family, who were the ones to introduce me to it anyway. I was looking at Eurovision videos for this year's contest and I suddenly remembered these guys, who I've absolutely worshiped for the past... 10 years, at LEAST. It took some searching but I finally found some of their videos (which I'd never seen before)~ and I also found a serbian site where I can buy their music!! :D Yay for olden favourites XD

The song above is one of their most recent ones. This song on the other hand is one of those I have on a cassette since I was 8 or something, maybe even younger. [linked because it might be a little inappropriate towards the end~ whatever did they need that footage for? :P]

Anyway, I'm so glad I found their stuff somewhere. Proves that they existed! So far everyone I've met from Serbia claims complete ignorance. I mean, WTF?! And I'm TOTALLY buying their CDs because they make me feel like I'm 6 years old again. :D So cute.

419. TOO CUTE. *flails*

WaT have a new single out!!! :D Toki o Koete ~Fantastic World~ <3
The PV made me squeal repeatedly. Teppei is of course the main source, but to my surprise Wentz is also very cute. Observe:

ASDFASKLAGFDHGHA *_________*
A big, BIG thank you to [info]hiroki_chan for uploading the single and the PV :) You have given me more reason to squeal ^^ and a new song to play on repeat. (As if Destiny's Play, Daite Senorita & Hoshi Wo Mezashite weren't enough :P)

Because yes, I am also being converted into a NewS fangirl (THEY RULE!!! *___*), although I first listened to them because of Yamapi (who I am beginning to worship) and Tegoshi -who has a surprisingly great voice- but I like all of them now. Shige has a cute smile, Koyama is a total dork, and Massu is cute and squishy. And he sings well. Just GUH, I love them all. And most of their songs are so happy go lucky (Summer Time, Weeeek, Hoshi Wo Mezashite... <3) with the occasional exception, like Taiyou no Namida... ^^ *sigh* And Yamapi. OH GOD YAMAPI. I didn't like him this much when I watched him in Nobuta or Kurosagi, but I guess the awesomeness has started to pile up and I suddenly find myself totally pining over the sheer memory of the Daite Senorita PV. O____O

But of course, the definition of happy go lucky is indeed WaT. Who can forget the attrociousness dorkyness that is TOKIMEKI DOOBEEDOO?! For the sake of laughter and squealing please watch that video, it cracks me up every single time!! (Although when I listen to the song it's okay, but THE HORROR OF THE GREEN BACKGROUND AND THE FRILLY OUTFITS!! AND THE CHOREOGRAPHY!! *________* watch it please.)

Oh, also, I watched Zettai Kareshi #3 last night. My thoughts:
SPOILERS!! d'oh~ )

Which reminds me that I need to watch Gokusen 3 as well. It's on ep 3, I already have the first one. YANKUMI :D

I'm also on episode 8 of Yukan Club, which is great so far. Typical jdrama structure, with episodes that focus on stories involving one of the main characters each time, great cast (Kat-tun's Jin + Junno + Kanjani8's Yuu + NewS's Koyama ~so far~ = Johnny's overload!! if Yamapi appeared in it I'd DIE from too much Johnny's XD), and KEEP THE FAITH of course <3 Gotta love that song ^^ it's one of my all-time favourites.
I want to finish it soon so I can move on to other stuff I have to watch. ^^ I have like 5-6 anime I haven't even started, plus Bleach which I want to catch up on. I hear fillers have started again. >_< How do they do that? HOW?! :P

And THAT was my fandom post for this week evening, Amsterdam post left to do! :D

412. absolute boyfriend review + evil muzzer™ rant
Waaah, the Zettai Kareshi jdrama is super awesome!

spoilers? )

Now on to the muzzer™ rant (these are getting a little scarce these days, haha [/sarcasm])~
This morning while I was going to bed (this statement is ironic by itself) she randomly woke up and saw that I was still up and came in and started a whole speech about how I'm completely worthless and have developed an addiction to the computer (on which I have two comments: one, it's better than being addicted to alcohol or cigarettes, and two, it's not an addiction per se, because -and I have proved this during the past year- I can in fact live without a computer AND without an internet connection. if I take away her morning coffee she'll be dragging herself around all day. THAT's an addiction). True, I tend to stay up all night on the computer because I'm doing things online, things I don't even manage to finish, and most of the time I have at least five other things I need to do but never have time for. For me, for some of you and for most people on this site or deviantArt, these things are understandable. Perhaps my turning around of the biological clock would be frowned upon, but I'd get a sympathetic "I know what you mean". That means something to me. And I'm not about to go onto the cliche argument of how the generations now have a rift and there's no way my mother would understand something so ahead of her own time as livejournal, icons, Johnny's Entertainment or the crack found in Prince of Tennis and D-Boys, because let's face it, it's a fact. I will never expect her to understand this. However, I will not put up with derogatory characterisations and comparisons with my father (something she always does whenever I'm being lazy or bored and laying about), because it's my own kind of hobby and I feel like I'm making something, instead of just sitting there surfing. Essentially it is just surfing, but it's somehow more than that. It's hard to explain.

If you understand, thank you. If you don't, please don't start with muzzer-like comments because frankly, I've had enough. Don't go on about how "she's right, you know", because I do know, and I am trying to turn the clock around, and I don't need anyone to tell me that. I hate it when people tell me what to do or not do.

Johnny's rambles:
  1. Something I've wanted to point out since I first saw the Keep the Faith PV (which by the way, KICKS ASS): Don't Kame and Jin (especially Jin though) look very tired? Jin has bags under his eyes that are super evident, and Kame as well though his are not so puffy. Also Jin's solo cam parts look like he's just doing this to get it over with, with a few usual grimaces and movements which guarantee the kakoi effect. Near the end he looks so exhausted, like he's keeping himself awake. *sigh* Those two should stop staying up late doing naughty things, especially on work nights. There's weekends for that, boys.
  2. Is Kanjani8's Purin a song about what I think it is? Actual pudding?!?! I didn't like them much before but THIS SONG MAKES UP FOR EVERYTHING I SWEAR. XDDDDD *sings along* "Purin, purin, daisuki sa purin~~" *g*
  3. I had a dream last night and it involved me and Ikuta Toma in uh, embarrassing scenes. *blush* I didn't know I liked him so much, lol. (There was also Oguri Shun, with very fuzzy hair and a weird hair accessory on his head. Later on for some reason it got curly. My subconscious is confused about Oguri Shun's hair, apparently. For good reason too, but that's another story.)

#407. mayhemz.
Elissaios and Alice together are an absolute disaster.
But that's not entirely bad... Lol.

Nya, generally speaking Alice doesn't fit in with a lot of people, especially the normal ones. But he figured her out after a point so he stopped being annoyed by her, and that's fine. As long as people don't stick to their first impressions, no matter how bad those are, everything is fixable. ^^

My mom is leaving for Serbia tonight so we're going to stay at my grandmother's for a few days... >.< That will put me back into a normal schedule, so to speak... That's okay I guess, I needed to change my sleeping patterns anyway. I hate this whole i'm-turning-into-a-vampire thingy, it wears me out like whoa. I have to start thinking of excuses to come home and use the internets :P I don't plan of staying there 24/7, that's suicide. :P

This is what I'm listening to and it's so cute omg. ^^

This has to be one of the best music videos EVER. The lyrics are (as always with TAI) made of pure emotion, and the video just brings it all out in the surface if you're too lazy to seek it out yourself. ABSOLUTE BEAUTY. I love these guys. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM.

Happy April. Not in the mood for pranks right now. :P

Also, Kamen Rider Kiva is the most random and unexpectedly cute jdrama ever. The effects suck, the plot is okay, but Seto is of course made of pure win and that fixes everything. :D EVERYTHING.

I'M AN OFFICIAL PODCASTER ZOMG!!
I've been invited to become a permanent member of the podcasting team of AnimePlanet.gr!! Is this awesome or what??

For the past 3 hours I've been talking with the founder of the website, Elissaios, on Skype, and we have so many interests in common, it's been three hours of pure win and randomness... He listens to soundtracks, watches japanese live action series, knows his fair share of Prince of Tennis stuff, and is of course into japanese music like a normal anime-addict. He's 26, a web-developer, and is very much like me.

The appearance on the podcast was supposed to be a guest appearance for the next episode on January 10th, but as we talked on he proposed that I join the team, and I was like "yayyyy absolutely count me in!" XD

So your friend here is now a podcaster, in Greek of course but hey, we all have to begin somewhere, right? ;)
YAY I'M A PODCASTER~!!!!! JOY!! =3

In other news, I got back from England on the 24th. Had a marvellous time in London with Amy, watched the second Rikkai musical (like omg the crack is killing me!!!!11!!), went shopping, met up with an old classmate of mine and watched the Golden Compass (I give the movie a 7 out of 10 because it looked and sounded brilliant but the script was the LAMEST of LAME) and also went to dinner with
[info]lonewhitecomet the night I got there... Oh, I also attended an audition which I did not pass, but it's not worth mentioning since I totally disliked the place, so ehh, we're movin' on.
Then I went to Hull and spent a day with a former classmate of mine from the IB, had lunch at a wonderful pub and dinner at her place (home cooked danish food!! yummy!!), and then my dad came and picked me up and I spent a week at his place in a small, beautiful town called Yarm. I was online most of the time downloading DBSK goodness (yes, the Korean pop band that owns my SOUL), visited his dental practice at Northallerton, watched a few movies... Mostly relaxing after an intense week in London.

And I came back to find my family as I left it, attended a couple of family lunches and so on for Christmas, and one birthday party for my friend Chris two days ago. My boyfriend's birthday party is tomorrow, and we're getting together again, the whole gang and everything. Should be fun. ^^

Hope all of you have had a wonderful Christmas, and I wish you a very happy New Year's Day in case I don't update before then. :D

Cold Case Songs...!
Songs from the TV show "Cold Case" which I'm such a huge fan of... God this show is amazing!

For some reason, the first song (which is the opening of the series) makes me feel so mellow and ready to cry... Dunno why. It's so... sweeping. It has that feeling of swirling in the rain or when it's windy and you're standing in an open area...
There's Kath getting all romantic. *sigh*
Second song just makes me so happy to listen to. It was in the pilot episode of the series and I just totally love it. Oldies for the win.

Last Train Home by Lostprophets
(download it here.)

One! Two! Three!

To every broken heart in here
Love was once a part, but now it's disappeared
She told me that it's all part of the choices that you make
Even when you think you're right
You have to give to take

But there's still tomorrow
Forget the sorrow
And I can be on the last train home
Watch it pass the day
As it fades away
No more time to care
No more time, today

But we sing
If we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing
If it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason
To ever fall in love

I wonder if you're listening
Picking up on the signals
Sent back from within
Sometimes it feels like I don't really know what's going on
Time and time again it seems like everything is wrong in here

But there's still tomorrow
Forget the sorrow
And I can be on the last train home
Watch it pass the day
As it fades away
No more time to care
No more time, today

But we sing
If we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing
If it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason
To ever fall in love

But we sing if we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing if it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason to ever fall in love

But we sing
If we're going no where
Yeah we sing
If it's not enough
And we sing
Sing with out a reason to never fall in love
To never fall in love again.

And yeah, I'm still studying hard. Thanks for asking.
