412. absolute boyfriend review + evil muzzer™ rant
Waaah, the Zettai Kareshi jdrama is super awesome!

EPISODE 1:
  • Mizushima Hiro makes me swoon! And he's great in his part too, you can see thoughts and feelings form in his somewhat awkward and clumsy mind, and that's so cute!! :)
  • The robot dude, awwwww :3 Gokusen 2 memories!! Tsuchiiiiii :D (He's still too dark though, he should steer clear of tanning salons for his own sake :P) I didn't recognise him in the long hair and the non-delinquent attitude, haha. He's fairly good in his acting, got me convinced from the get-go. And he's so sweet! ^^ Must say I've never seen him in a role like this before, so it's interesting to watch him.
  • The girl's accent reminds me of Maki Horikita a lot, particularly in the way she pronounces the "-shi"... I love Maki's accent, so yay for that. :D
  • And also allow me to say HAHAHA OSCAR GOT PWNED. ^^
That made me so happy. I always hated that guy's face since olden HanaKimi days, and later when he was villain #1 in Kamen Rider Kiva, and gave my Seto a hard time. >.< So yay for what's-his-face Kyo Nobuo getting his ass kicked. XD
  • And look what I discovered just now: KAJI MASAKI IS IN THE CAST!!! Tenimyu is invading everywhere!!
EPISODE 2:
  • I honestly don't get Riiko. She contradicts herself like a million times in one moment. She doesn't know what she wants, she is obviously very confused about herself, and she is an absolut idiot. Then again, that's what makes her a real person, and a woman at that, so her character is well-constructed and that I like. HOWEVER, she should not have bought Night. She knows the relationship will be dysfunctional, and oh my God she has Mizushima Hiro right there begging for attention ~_~ GRAB THE DUDE AND FORGET THE ROBOT, IDIOT.
  • But what's the point if there isn't some funny cuteness (that preferably lasts another 8-9 episodes) before that happens, right?
  • I want to eat those cream puffs. They look so oishiiiii <333
  • OH GUH. MIZUSHIMA HIRO. *____*
I'm going to keep watching this. It's too good not to watch. So funny and cute, uwaahh~ :3
And also, uh, MIZUSHIMA HIRO.
(Am I becoming too much of a fangirl? TT_TT)

Now on to the muzzer™ rant (these are getting a little scarce these days, haha [/sarcasm])~
This morning while I was going to bed (this statement is ironic by itself) she randomly woke up and saw that I was still up and came in and started a whole speech about how I'm completely worthless and have developed an addiction to the computer (on which I have two comments: one, it's better than being addicted to alcohol or cigarettes, and two, it's not an addiction per se, because -and I have proved this during the past year- I can in fact live without a computer AND without an internet connection. if I take away her morning coffee she'll be dragging herself around all day. THAT's an addiction). True, I tend to stay up all night on the computer because I'm doing things online, things I don't even manage to finish, and most of the time I have at least five other things I need to do but never have time for. For me, for some of you and for most people on this site or deviantArt, these things are understandable. Perhaps my turning around of the biological clock would be frowned upon, but I'd get a sympathetic "I know what you mean". That means something to me. And I'm not about to go onto the cliche argument of how the generations now have a rift and there's no way my mother would understand something so ahead of her own time as livejournal, icons, Johnny's Entertainment or the crack found in Prince of Tennis and D-Boys, because let's face it, it's a fact. I will never expect her to understand this. However, I will not put up with derogatory characterisations and comparisons with my father (something she always does whenever I'm being lazy or bored and laying about), because it's my own kind of hobby and I feel like I'm making something, instead of just sitting there surfing. Essentially it is just surfing, but it's somehow more than that. It's hard to explain.

If you understand, thank you. If you don't, please don't start with muzzer-like comments because frankly, I've had enough. Don't go on about how "she's right, you know", because I do know, and I am trying to turn the clock around, and I don't need anyone to tell me that. I hate it when people tell me what to do or not do.

Johnny's rambles:
  1. Something I've wanted to point out since I first saw the Keep the Faith PV (which by the way, KICKS ASS): Don't Kame and Jin (especially Jin though) look very tired? Jin has bags under his eyes that are super evident, and Kame as well though his are not so puffy. Also Jin's solo cam parts look like he's just doing this to get it over with, with a few usual grimaces and movements which guarantee the kakoi effect. Near the end he looks so exhausted, like he's keeping himself awake. *sigh* Those two should stop staying up late doing naughty things, especially on work nights. There's weekends for that, boys.
  2. Is Kanjani8's Purin a song about what I think it is? Actual pudding?!?! I didn't like them much before but THIS SONG MAKES UP FOR EVERYTHING I SWEAR. XDDDDD *sings along* "Purin, purin, daisuki sa purin~~" *g*
  3. I had a dream last night and it involved me and Ikuta Toma in uh, embarrassing scenes. *blush* I didn't know I liked him so much, lol. (There was also Oguri Shun, with very fuzzy hair and a weird hair accessory on his head. Later on for some reason it got curly. My subconscious is confused about Oguri Shun's hair, apparently. For good reason too, but that's another story.)

Interesting review!
About Jin, he used to sleep really few hours. He only recently said that he started getting to bed early. Hopefully he'll be full of energy again. (Unless his new schedule doesn't work for him... But he also has to quit smoking.) About Kazu-chan, it's well known that he rarely has time off... [If you want KT gossip, I'm here!]
If you like songs about food, there's also Miso Soup by Tegomass!
And yey for dirty dreams with rather random stars!!!

[woohoo gimme teh KT gossip :D I've been a fan of theirs for a while, but I'm not the type to go around looking for gossip, so I know too little... enlighten me dear one. select your preferred method of talking and we'll get to it >:D]

Aaaah I see. Well you can TELL. Anyone can. That was wrong of him because he's in the limelight, I can sleep random hours but no one's gonna give a sh*t, you know what I mean? :P And yes he should quit smoking, cuz it sucks. :P
Well Kazu-chan probably regulates his time better, even though I do believe that the whole idol business has hurt them physically and psychologically, which makes me inclined to like the band but not the people. Because as people they have some work to do to make themselves better.

AHH MISO SOUP SONG <333
Haven't heard it, but songs about food are so cute! Purin had me melted like ice cream under the sun in August. So cute!! =3

Uh, yes. YAY :D
Fuyumi Kôtani (冬美 凍谷): kazuya[info]marilena_r on April 29th, 2008 02:05 pm (UTC)
You don't like KT as people? Why? Well, they certainly have their defaults, but here's what I think about them: Kazuya might be a bit arrogant but he seems considerate, mature and kind. Jin is... χύμα (για να το πω στα ελληνικά!), he might not like women very much and he tends to be lazy but he is talented, he seems maturing and he must be really kind as well when he wants. (And he knows he can't move around like a zombie! He's worried about that, but... it's up to him to arrange a better life!) Junno is arrogant, annoying with his jokes and he can't read the atmosphere around him, but I am sure he makes a lot of efforts to make himself accepted by the orthers. Koki can be harsh or kind according to situations. He gets really loud but I guess he's ok. Tat-chan is witty and cheeky and he can also be sweet... If only he hadn't abandoned the guitar for the sake of boxing... And I really have nothing to say about Yuichi except for the fact that he is the sweetest among them.
And I think that any kind of job can be tiring... The truth is I don't like to consider the fact that they might feel exploited because I worry to bits about them... I know they like to be independant, so I hope they become more and more free as they grow up.
I'll try to mention anything worthwhile in my journal in the future!
For the moment, here's Miso soup!

‹•ķăŧĥāŕĩŋē•›: music♪KAT-TUN ☆ blindfolded[info]katiedistance on May 1st, 2008 03:34 am (UTC)
Hmm I guess I misphrased; I don't like Kame and Jin as people. The rest are ok-ish, more than Akame. Those two are hopeless, imo. And here's why:

- Jin, first of all, is the most talented one in the group. The greatest voice, the greatest looks, he's got it all. And he knows this. And because he knows this, τα μυαλά του έχουν πάρει αέρα, ελληνιστί. And that annoys me. Because of the way he treats his fans, or of the way he talks to people, which is sometimes rude and obnoxious, I tend to think that such talented individuals need to be scolded sometimes, not just praised. Too much praise hurts. I've seen it happen, and it's not pretty. I hope that Jin will realise this himself, before it's too late and he loses face and his fans' faith and loyalty in him.
- Kame is in a similar way overly proud and sure of his abilities, he's got a great voice and that's also part of the reason. I'm not too fond of his looks (body: too skinny, and there's something wrong with his face, the lips particularly, which I do not like)~ therefore I fail to see why he's considered more of a hottie than Jin. That's unthinkable. Jin rules ALL. :P I was very much impressed by the deep bond these two share, and especially by the strong ...feelings [don't know of what kind ;P] that Kame has for Jin (I was talking to a Japanese friend of mine who was telling me all sorts of gossip about how Kame was caught drinking during Jin's absence to America, and that was really touching). However, Kame has a slightly different pride problem than Jin, I don't know how to phrase it exactly. In any case, that's what annoys me in him as well.
- ...as a general comment, I do not like the blatant distinction between the above two and the rest of them. It's like they're the ones attention is focused on and the rest are just there to fill the space. It's a grotesque statement, and I don't mean it literally, but you get the idea. Junno, Ueda, Koki and Yuichi in particular are all pushed aside most of the times. That's not nice.
- Junno... I regard him as rather normal, in fact. From what I gather (because, like I've said before, I have not read too much about them, am usually not the sort of person to care too much about a band's personal life) he seems pretty level-headed compared to certain bandmates of his *cough cough*. I believe he has the επίγνωση that he isn't one of the favoured, but he's doing his best. I think that's awesome.
- I love Ueda. The fact that he used to imitate certain artists because he admired them (something Ryo of NewS, if I'm not mistaken, apprehended him about) isn't to be frowned upon; I believe it was a part of the process of finding himself, which is kinda difficult to do when you're in the limelight [this might be the cause of the problem for Kame+Jin, I don't know]. I believe he's very sweet and creative and there's a lot of things in his head that will come out in due time and surprise us all. I think he can be a great artist.
- Koki... I admire him a lot. Standing up to his rapper image and creating his own style outside of Kat-tun (whenever he can of course~ like those dramas he was in etc) says a lot about his personality. He's deeper than people think, even though he might appear to be a little baka at times. I think that he has a kind heart and a very clever mind.
- Yuichi is the biggest pushover of them all. And what's great about him, is that he doesn't care. So he doesn't have Jin's looks, or Kame's voice, but he's got a decisive character that doesn't give up. Maybe he doesn't have as many fans as the rest, but that doesn't let him down. Such strength of character is remarkable. And also, I find both him and Koki hilarious and awesome to watch :D</ul>

I think that's it... that was a LONG comment, sorry for the long read haha.
THANK YOU FOR THE SONG <333

Take care too :)

Interesting read!!! XD
Ah, yes. Jin tends to be rude. But when it comes to fans... I totally sympathise. (Should I make an entry on what fans have done to KT?) And I *love* Kame's pride. Maybe I am weird... This is part of what makes him hot to me! (I know that Jin can make you melt with a glare, but Kame can make you melt with just a movement of his hands... Jin is dirty-sexy and Kame is sweet-sexy.) And his lips and eyes are very beautiful! (Is this proof that beauty is subjective? Sometimes I have no idea.) And thanks life he's not so skinny anymore!
Lol... Junno is calm to the point of appearing insensible! (Only him could explain the phenomenon!) But Yuichi's voice is just fine I think... Maybe better than Kame's in some respects...
I wrote so many things again! Lol! By the way, I am updating my journal but it seems that the entries do not appear in flists...

And while I was reading, I was thinking "hey, she survived a net-less year", then I kept reading and there it is! /agreeargument

I have to say though....once or twice, I've pulled all-nighters on the pc (DAMN YOU WOW)...and for the times I've done it, it was worth it. No idea how LJ/DA works to keep you doing the same day after day though. Still, I empathise and trust you'll figure it out yourself, no muzzering here.

Haha, yes. I can make arguments on here or in my head and as you can see they make sense; but if I try to tell her this and attempt a normal conversation with her I shall be stoned for the sin of disrespect. *sigh*

Thank you for the no-muzzering :) Actually, it's not like LJ/dA per se are keeping me up, it's the stuff in it. All the things I'm interested in/obsessed with at any give time are there. I stay up looking at things or reading or downloading stuff that interests me, and I learn a whole heap of -seemingly- useless information about any given thing that sparks my interest. It's fascinating. ^^ Much like an all-nighter involving raids, quests, guilds, and dwarf paladins, I assume. ;)

Hey, I missed you. *hug*
When are you coming home again? ^^

How long are you staying? The whole of summer? Plz tell me yes cuz I don't even know if I'm going to be in Thessaloniki on the 18th, and I'm leaving for London on the 20th most probably! ~_~

Yup, whole summer, up until August 31ish give or take a day.

You'll be back from London at some point...right?

What time are you leaving on the 20th? I've got the 19th booked (with whom...is obvious), but I might be able to squeeze something if you are able...else, whenever you're back!

ugh exactly. I completely get you when you say hey, at least it's not an alcohol/drug addiction, right? I have that problem with my muzzer (hehe) too. See, you know how your mom picks on you about the net? Mine used to pick on me with what she called having 'my head in the clouds.' While I was reading. Reading. I'm sure you know as well as I do how difficult it is to explain to them that most parents would be ecstatic to see their kid reading for hours on end, or going on the net instead of out clubbing or sth. Oh, and, the other day, she started making all these snide and indirect but cutting remarks about how I have ugly hands. Yes, I KNOW that I bite my nails often, and as a result I keep them very short because 1] if they're long I tend to nibble, and 2] it's more practical because paint/ink can't get under it. But nope. For some reason me having very short nails and not caring how they look mortally offends her. Ugh. I wish there was some sort of -switch daughters for a week- program or something so she can come to the realisation that she has it VERY easy with me. I mean, not only am I an only child, but my greatest fault is biting my nails. *headdesk* Now THERE'S a problem child. argh.

Ok... I'm really sorry I ranted here hun. I guess I needed to get that out, lol! delete this if you want.

*hugs*
here's to a free day where you'll be able to keep your nails as short as you like and no one will tell you a thing. :)

I haven't actually watched Zettai Kareshi, but I see the manga every single time I go to Orbital. Every single time. D: I'll try to check out the drama at some point. When I have more internet time and so on. :) [yay for Kaji!]

Your mother's always over-reacting with things like that. Oo Don't worry. It will get better. Or summer will come and it will be too hot to sleep at noon anyway. LOL. I'm joking, of course. Surfing sure is very distracting, ne?

Keep The Faith is one of the best! I really love that song. K8 really have some weird songs... ^^; But there are quite a few I liked. If you're wondering about Purin... http://weblog.xanga.com/shika_to_yuri/620020435/purin-lyrics--translation.html Here's the translation and they are actually talking about pudding. I think the past week I've seen too much of Oguri Shun. He's everywhere! Stand Up, Maitantei Conan (omg!), Densha Otoko (even if it's for so little). There's this really cool movie with him, but no subs. ;_;
